Project Overview

This gorgeous two-story house overlooking a golf course became a forever home for the clients who winter in the south but spend the warm weather months in Central Ohio. By adding an elevator, not only is the second floor fully accessible, but the first floor has been upgraded as well. With some structural changes and a relocated stairwell, the new elevator shaft was successfully incorporated into the existing floor plan. This was a much less expensive option than a primary suite addition and gave the opportunity for cosmetic updates to the loft and living room as well.
