Project Overview

Once dreary, this hard-working little kitchen is now bright and inviting, with many hidden surprises. Mom uses a wheelchair, so countertops, her cooktop, and electrical devices were lowered in height. There's a roll-under sink with a deck-mounted faucet handle within everyone's reach. The gas range is a normal height for dad and daughter to stand, but controls are on the front for mom to use the oven. And she loves the pull-down and pull-out shelves. Cabinets with slow-close drawers and doors take little effort and tolerate grandkids searching for treats.
