Project Overview

This structure was designed and constructed using the organic architectural principles of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian architectural style. The deck flows from the double door at the master bedroom to an ample dining area with plenty of room for other seating adjacent to yard access. It seamlessly transitions into a screened-in porch area and rests below the French doors leading out of the family room. The cantilevered framing is a tapered, stainless steel railing system that rests upon the engineered decking and cedar facia. The screened-in porch header is now set into the new porch ceiling and the redwood siding minimally adjusted.
