Project Overview

As avid cooks and entertainers, these recent retirees wanted a brighter, updated space with enhanced functionality. Their top priorities included comfortable seating, ample countertop prep space, and additional storage, which was achieved by creating a 22 bump out, cantilevering off the existing floor joist while preserving the roofline. Soft green paint was applied to the majority of the cabinetry and the hood, while stained oak was used to create furniture pieces like the island and armoire, maintaining the home's casual English style.
