Project Overview

This project involved the complete re-configuration and remodel of an existing kitchen with a modern, clean design and aesthetics. The existing kitchen was confined with inadequate flow. The owner is an avid home chef and wanted to update the space with a large center island that could seat the whole family, commercial grade appliances, and an integrated butcher block counter for food preparation. Flow was improved by widening the opening from the formal dining room to the kitchen and creating pathways to the adjoining family room. The existing tile floor was replaced with hardwood flooring to match the rest of the home as well.
