Project Overview

This 103-year-old traditional home had seen several renovations throughout its lifetime, but nothing stood out like the extremely modern kitchen remodel that was performed in the 1970s. From the stair-stepped ceiling to the laminate cabinets, nothing in the kitchen blended with the home's original style. This family of five wanted the new kitchen to complement their historic home with an open floor plan so they could easily entertain. The remodeled kitchen is now open to the family room and features hickory cabinets, a custom, painted and glazed island with leathered granite counter tops, commercial grade appliances, and a custom copper hood.
