Project Overview

These young homeowners came to us requesting efficient design solutions for their small and dark kitchen. They wanted to achieve a space that blended well with their 1913 home but would speak to their fun and lively personalities. Another priority of the remodel was coming up with a solution for their steep and scary basement stairwell, which was included in the kitchen design. Features include quartzite countertops paired with blue colored cabinets that pull out the veining in the stone; a larger window over the sink and skylight for plenty of natural light, and an improved basement door entry. The end result blended the old and the new seamlessly.
