Project Overview

This narrow galley kitchen was small, dark and dysfunctional. As entertainers and huge foodies, the clients felt isolated from guests in the living room when they were preparing food in the kitchen. To create an open, beautiful and functional space, the wall dividing the kitchen and living room was removed for better entertaining. This also provided clear sight lines and views into the backyard. Custom white cabinetry on the perimeter now contrasts with the navy 14-foot kitchen island and provides ample serving and work space. Brass hardware and fixtures, a navy hex backsplash and a high-end appliance package helps complete the design.
