Project Overview

This kitchen's unique design was achieved using varying shapes and sizes as well as rare and exquisite materials. The clients desired a modern culinary kitchen with a curving island that connected to their dining area. Challenges included integrating a curved island into an area where the doors and windows could not be moved because of the limestone on the exterior. Removing an existing peninsula and replacing it with a racetrack circulation pattern allowed for the new 16-foot island. Other design features include a second coffer system with custom light fixture mounts shaped like the island. The result is a space that brings the clients joy every time they use it.
