Project Overview

This young couple purchased a 30-year-old townhouse that had never been remodeled. They wanted to modernize the kitchen to fit their lifestyle. The space was opened up to the dining room with the removal of two load-bearing walls and the installation of a recessed beam. Removing soffits extended cabinetry to the ceiling and a new window added daylight into the space. Features include a glass tile backsplash, stainless appliances and chimney style hood, seeded glass pendant lights and an island designed with a wine rack. Dark cherry cabinetry and granite countertops complete the space, giving the couple their dream kitchen.
