Project Overview

The existing kitchen was small, dark, cut off from the rest of the house and not conducive to entertaining. The clients wanted an open kitchen that could accommodate their large extended family, with a space to prepare food for the holidays. Opening up the kitchen to the rest of the house and utilizing white ceiling-height cabinets carried light throughout the house. The new center island complements a rustic natural wood look found in the rest of the home, while the new tile floors flow into the existing home. The warm effect creates a welcoming space, with lots of extra storage.
