For their home in a neighborhood with wide-open spaces, the clients sought to balance charming original details with modern amenities suited to their family lifestyle. The interior was dramatically transformed within its existing footprint. Details were elevated to appeal to the clients' style and love for hosting gatherings. The open living area, as large as many homes, integrates the kitchen with the family room while distinguishing each space and bringing the grand proportions to a human scale.
