Project Overview

These homeowners built this house 25 years ago, but they were ready to finally turn it into their dream home. With its builder-grade finishes and awkward '90s layout, this main floor was not suited for the evolving needs of retirees. The load-bearing walls isolating the kitchen were removed to offer optimal sightlines and improved circulation; which is perfect, not only for accessibility, but also for hosting family gatherings. A juxtaposition of Craftsman style and a muted color palette, along with a visually stunning custom quartz fireplace, create a welcoming and balanced living space that will endure for years to come.
