Project Overview

Ample opportunity lay previously untapped and overlooked in this single-family home. With separation being the prime directive for the original homebuilder, this family found themselves consistently trying to force a natural layout into a space that just didn't allow one. Between work, school, sports, and regular dog walks, the last thing this family needed was for the joys of valued evening family time to be interrupted by the lack of a convenient and sensible home design. The challenge was to structurally revamp the space and utilize the square footage available, while maintaining a comfortable aesthetic and reasonable budget.
