Project Overview

These homeowners purchased this newly remodeled home knowing they wanted to transform it from contemporary to classic traditional. Several load-bearing walls were removed to de-compartmentalize the first floor and create a welcoming sightline from the foyer to the back of the home. Traditional style features include French doors, panel-faced appliances, crown molding, stately columns and custom railings. Tile flooring was replaced with oak hardwood to provide continuity throughout the entire first floor. A large skylight was installed over the central staircase for natural light and an extended kitchen island provides needed storage and counterspace to prep food and entertain.
