Project Overview

With colors inspired by sea glass and sand dunes, this kitchen designed for a retired beach loving client and her cherished dog welcomes cooking, entertaining and visits from her daughters. Universal design elements were subtly integrated for aging in place. Previously dark and cramped, the kitchen is now full of natural light and open to a dining area, a cozy living space with a dramatic fireplace, and a pretty backyard. Thoughtful design details include a stunning arabesque pattern backsplash and a countertop with a big wave pattern. This organized and inviting kitchen communicates a cheerful seaside spirit.
