Project Overview

The DeGolyer Vintage Condo is situated inside an architectural gem on Chicago's North Side. This renovation focused on small changes to maximize function and bring back the era of Old Hollywood Glamour. To achieve this, the living room was redesigned with warm tones to make Lake Michigan the focal point; the original millwork in the dining room and the hardwood floors throughout were repaired and restored; and the kitchen and bath were updated. Careful planning, choices, and compromises resulted in a home that honored the original architecture and brought Old Hollywood Glamour into the everyday environment.
