Project Overview

This midcentury modern home built in 1971 had a dated master suite that was a maze of dark walls and doors, tight spaces and poor flow. With much creativity and space planning, the area was transformed into an open, modern spa-like master retreat. From the double-sided fireplace and refinished original hardwood floors in the bedroom area to the oversized frameless glass shower and soaking tub in the bathroom, this master is all the homeowners dreamed of and more! Design elements include recessed niches with glass herringbone pattern in the shower, and a custom floating mantle over the fireplace with a herringbone tile surround in the bedroom.
