Project Overview

To have an architecturally interesting connection between the floors of their home where none existed was the goal of this project. The flow of traffic easily moves through the space and around the switchback set of stairs. The iron and glass railings provide safety and add a lightness to the area. The spacing of the glass panels is balanced, and the black iron is a striking complement to the wood stairs and exposed stone foundation on the lower level. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding, with clean welds and scribing materials to the stone foundation. This project is a success!
