Project Overview

Built in 1917, this historical home has seen several renovations thoughout its 103-years of existence, but the one that stands out the most is an addition built in 1983. The modern approach addition with a curved glass block wall and flat roof design did not match the original style of this very traditional home, which features a French electic architecture with steeply pitched hip roofs and sweeping eaves. The clients wanted the room demolished and a new functional family room built in its place. The new family room addition matches the original French Eclectic architecture on the inside and out.
