Project Overview

The owner of this eclectic turn-of-the-century home told Gilday Renovations she wanted to make the front porch more inviting-like an outdoor living room for family and friends. Historic guidelines were respected in the porch spruce up, which features a new solid mahogany front door with sidelights, fans, lighting, and custom-designed lattice privacy screens on each side. The screens look as though they would have been part of the original home, with large circular details on the end screens adding a surprise element to the crisscross latticework.
