Project Overview

After attempting to use different patio furniture and Christmas lights in this plain covered patio, it was clear that the space was not practical or inviting. This exterior was upgraded with integration in mind. Materials and colors of the existing exterior were repeated in the patio. The new decking matches the deck above. The beadboard ceiling was painted to match the exterior trim, making the patio feel like an exterior room while simultaneously concealing the gutter system. The once underutilized space now is a highlight of the home. The clients now enjoy hosting family gatherings or just curling up with a good book on summer evenings.
