Project Overview

The goal for this project was to transform the client's dark, landlocked bathroom into a bright and updated retreat. In addition to wanting the bathroom to feel more spacious, the clients hoped to recreate a private water closet separate from the vanity and shower stall. The removal of the existing partition wall allows natural light from the existing skylight to flood the room during the day, while extensive layers of ambient and task lighting keep the room light and bright after dark. Borrowed space from an adjacent closet makes room for a luxurious vanity and uniquely illuminated water closet.
