Project Overview

With two young children and a busy work schedule, these clients wanted an updated and functional primary bathroom where they could go into and feel relaxed. The original layout had wasted space and a never-used steam sauna. Adding more recessed lights and LED sconces brightened up the space. Replacing the tile with an SPC wood look created a warmer, calmer bathroom. The new space includes a large shower and a wood grain vanity. Mixing black and nickel finishes added depth to the space. Texture was added throughout the room by installing shiplap, penny rounds on the shower floor, and the picket geometric tile.
