Project Overview

This historic bath was full of challenges. The shower did not function and the floor beneath the shower area was sagging and extremely dangerous to walk on. The old cabinets had doors and drawers that no longer closed properly. The new space preserves and honors the historic integrity of the bath through material selections. The focal point is a hand-painted marble tile floor with incredible detailing. Classic white inset cabinetry looks as if it has always been there, and the existing beadboard wainscoting was restored to its former beauty. Polished nickel fixtures add sparkle and slender wall sconces accentuate the bath's original tall windows.
