Project Overview
The clients purchased this 3,896-square-foot home in January 2018 in the hills of West Austin. The house was perfect for this newly married retired couple, but they needed two additional guest suites for their extended families. A 905-square-foot addition provided space for two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a large home library for the newly retired man of the house. The new wing was easily connected to the home by adding square footage to the existing media room for the new library and extending the existing hallway to the south.
