Project Overview

This project began because of a broken water line flooding the downstairs. The homeowners hated the layout downstairs, so the water damage became an opportunity to change the layout and transform the space into a area they love to use. Every room downstairs was too small and cut off, the space lacked storage, the laundry area was in the kitchen and, awkwardly, so was the powder bathroom. The new addition included space for a large laundry with storage, bathroom, downstairs bedroom with adjoining bath, and a fireplace. It also opened up the original downstairs floor plan to enlarge the kitchen.
