Project Overview

The owners loved the room off their kitchen but the drafty casement windows, cold parquet floor and large metal fireplace made it less than welcoming. The clients wanted to ditch the dated look and fireplace by adding a new wood stove and more windows. Finished with a cozy wood burning stove with a soapstone hearth and more windows to take advantage of the views, the new fireplace room is the favorite gathering place for the family all year round.
