Project Overview

The owners wanted to convert their 1950s Cape Cod to a custom, non-traditional, modern home. The home is located right outside a major city, but the wooded lot gives it a feel of seclusion, which was important to the owners. On the homeowners' wish list were high ceilings, an open floor plan with lots of natural light, bathrooms for every bedroom, a well-appointed kitchen, and multiple balconies and porches for indoor-outdoor living. A two-car garage was required to house their luxury sports cars. Above all, this young couple wanted space for friends and family to feel at home.
