Project Overview

This quintessential 1940s summer lake cottage was transformed into a fully insulated four season vacation home ready to welcome guests year-round. The entire second story was removed and rebuilt, giving more space to the bedrooms and bathroom. The main floor walls were insulated and finished, and a new heating system, plumbing and flooring added. A key feature became the three-sided gas fireplace in the main floor living area, adding warmth and ambiance to the space. The main floor ceiling was sand blasted and restored to the original wood beams. A new roof and siding on the exterior finish the space.
