Project Overview

This single-story home in Austin, Texas, received a transformative whole-house renovation and addition. The family of five sought a modern and efficient design that reflected their lifestyle and provided them with the space to grow. The existing roof was removed and the exterior envelope re-imagined. A second story addition elevated the home into the dense tree canopy. The interior spaces were reconfigured and refinished. The new outdoor spaces engage the neighborhood and take advantage of the beautiful trees. Minimalist detailing and challenging modern craftsmanship throughout allow spatial harmonies to sing.
