Project Overview

This renovation project was intended to create a safe and functional space for children, teens, and single moms who are recovering from homelessness. The aim was to provide them with an opportunity to participate in after-school care, educational classes, and community engagement. To achieve this goal, several changes were made, such as adding a mural of the Atlanta skyline to the teen room, removing walls in the main custom kitchen to open up the space, creating uplit glass walls in the main after-school classrooms, and adding abundant storage throughout the area. Additionally, custom storage was built throughout the space. The idea was to bring the outside in and create a beautiful yet functional space for these families.
