Project Overview

The clients' upscale Craftsman home had a cold and uncomfortable unfinished basement. The top priority was to transform the space so their adult children and grandchildren would visit more often and stay longer. They wanted the downstairs to reflect the same high level of comfort and quality as the upstairs. The close-knit family envisioned wine-tasting together while viewing the kids in the media room. Collectors of fine wine, they enjoyed wine tasting experiences similar to those offered by the local boutique wineries. So guests would not use the existing ensuite bathroom, they required a powder bathroom as well.
