Project Overview

This visually exciting lower level bursting with color was inspired by several Impressionist paintings of Italian village street scenes. The homeowners wanted a media wall, comfy seating, a combination workout room/playroom for their grandchildren, and a larger bathroom that adjoins to the bedroom. They also wanted to maintain the remaining floor plan. The kitchenette and fireplace were updated; gorgeous Mocha River granite became the focal point of the family room. Euro-style painted and glazed cabinetry was installed on the media wall and kitchenette, and an espresso-stained vanity and linen cabinet was placed in the bathroom. Additional custom storage was installed in two rooms as well.
