Griffey Remodeling - Entry 1

Project Overview

The clients were craving a lot of detail in their new basement: a custom wet-bar to rival the neighborhood bar with an outdoorsy feel; and a large theater screen with high-end electronics to rival the local cinema. They also wanted to incorporate a barn door from the family farm, and find use for some of their wine barrels. The new basement meets all their requests and includes a sleeping area, an open concept theater area, powder room, and exercise room. A garage door with a metal roof above separates the exercise room from the rest of the space. Recirculating water trickles down the roof for a soothing sound.
